Shane has been resting all day. The only time he awakes is when the nurse moves him or respiratory checks his breathing. He responds with his thumbs to the questions and as soon as they are done, he closes his eyes and immediately goes back to sleep. They have decreased several of the medicines in half and will continue. Doctors are pleased that he is resting and calm. They think it might be Thursday before he may become somewhat aware of his surroundings.

So glad to hear today has been peaceful for Shane, and in turn for all of you. Of course we will continue to ask God to watch over him, and guide all who are caring for him. Hopefully the evening will continue that way, and provide some comfort for you.
